• Monthly DART bus passes for women

If you are interested in getting involved, we currently need help with:

• The quarterly workshops
• Mentors to work with women

The greatest desire of the leaders of The Haven is to establish transitional housing for women exiting a life of prostitution. These women need at least a year to transform their lives and become established in new life patterns. The Haven of Love seeks, above all else, both a location for transition housing and the funding to either purchase or rent a property to house up to 6 women at a time. To assist us in meeting that goal, we need the following:

• Ongoing PRAYER for these needs to be supplied
• Monetary donations, both one time donations and monthly pledges
• Volunteers to donate time and talent where needed
• Men willing to maintain a dwelling after one is obtained with carpentery or maintenance work
• Volunteers willing to sponsor a women throughout her time at The Haven with prayer and financial support
• Underwriting the financial expense of a specific, particular project, event, or bible study, such as:
  • Books used in the CoDependent-Life Skills Class
  • Bible Study materials - Beth Moore's Breaking Free study
  • Food for a quarterly event
• Becoming an intercessor for the women, their families and workers

For Quarterly events, we need:

• Spiral Bound Notebooks used in the workshop by the ladies

In addition, the Haven Of Love is always in need of:

• Toiletries for women

If at all possible these items should be full sized because the memories and associations to hotel sized items is quite negative for some of the women.
